4 bottles of Gatorade that Grant peed in.

In Georgia

So after a nice little Taco Bell stop in FL, we're back at heading north.  BDerr - we'll see you in the am.  Don't miss us too much.  Get ready to beat those Falcons on Tues!  Think you can be a Kevin Love with 31 rebounds and 31 points??!!

GDerr - still solidly behind the wheel.  Says he can go at least until 2 am.

Texts keep coming.  There are strange people out there (well in the Explorer, too).

Dooley is missing his new found friend in FL - it'll be ok.  Maybe one day - 11.11.11 - could be a sweet day.  Dwight - you better be working on it - Dooley is one step ahead of you right now.

Penn State - falling apart.  Guess there can only be one big win for the day - LBC Women's Soccer.

On the Road Again ...

... hard to believe our time in FL is coming to an end, but we are heading north out of the Sunshine State.  Let's see - lots has been done:

- saw 2 Women's Soccer Games
 1. vs Maranatha BBC - tough loss in OT
 2. vs BBC (PA) for 3rd place - SOLID 5-1 Win today for 3rd place!!!  Way to go ladies.  Goals by Kristina Clairmont (2), Whitney Heise, Karyn Harkness and a sweet header by Ally Brown.

- saw 4 Women's Volleyball Games - they went 1-3 overall, but played really well.  Hard fought game against Grace that went 5 sets saw the ladies never quit!

- visited Sal Val, a pawn shop and a Flea Market - good buys at Sal Val.  GDerr is prob the biggest winner here.  Best buy was the 2 soccer jerseys at the Flea Market - Italy & Holland - 2 for $10. 

- saw the Toronto Raptors play at the new Amway Center against the Orlando Magic.  Magic lost - but still a fun time.  GDerr, Dooley & Andre the Giant got some acknowledgement from Vince Carter & Jameer Nelson.

- did lots of traveling so far - AND no tickets still (knock on wood); still about 13 3/4 hours to go. 

- Patch ... well Patch ... got the love of his life's number (thanks JA).  We'll see how soon he's moving to Fayetville, NC and/or Clearwater, FL.  Could be soon.

- and the texting is back at it!  Lots of texts as there is more daylight.  Some interesting comments so far.  Def plenty of stories there.

And now following the PSU/OSU football game!  Currently PSU is up 14-3 - WE ARE ... PENN STATE!

another day in florida

went to the two volleyball games chargers suffered two tough loses girls play tomorrow for soccer. Patch legit met the girl today she was just as beautiful as ever and will get her number before he leaves its a promise. anotehr awesome night on the town is planned tonight letssssssssssss go

Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah

First full day in Flo-Rida was a good one. Our girls lost a tough one which was tough. They were definitely the better team..out-shot them 25-6. Still have another game for 3rd place tomorrow which is still real legit. Our vball team got their first win and have two more games tomorrow. After the games we hit up pizza hut and cruised the shady streets of FL. Ran into some real skeptical ppl out there and Grant found a 32 oz Monster. If you didn't know, that is 4 Monsters in 1 huge can. It was finished by the time we got back to the hotel. So yeah, if Grant isn't around when we return to Lancaster you know why. After that we went alligator hunting, bull chasing, and a ton more. Thats for a whole another post. Pretty much were dominating and lovin life down here. Patch is falling more and more in love as the seconds go by. He claims he made a move tonight but it's all hear-say as of now. If he talks to her in person then maybe we'll have a connection. Were all coming off 2 hrs of sleep so were hitting the sack early tonight.

the volleyball team lost a hard fought game this morning but they will play again.also i found beautiful goddess number 1 it coulda been love clearwater christian number 7 <3 ....just got to hotel room its nice bunk beds baby g derr how you deeeeeeeeerrrrrnn cant wait for womens soccer game next lets go chargersssss

Southern girls for my two boys

Big Alabama here (Aka Andre the Giant Aka Charger Boy).. .. We are at the door step of kissimee florida. Only two gas stops and one quick chickfila breakfast we are almost there. Knock on wood we have not been pulled over yet. After a night like this I have realized a couple things. My japanese friend, Takaya, likes to roll down  the window at 12:36 p.m. and scream, "WE ARE GOING TO FLORIDA." Taylor dooley is a never ending radio with no volume control. Robert patch definately knows how to use his cast as a weapon. G-derr can drive 11 hours with one pit stop. And Bob can hear everything in his sleep.. .. .. And patches can now say he has cuddled with a two hundred fourty pound japanase sumo wrestler.

After all this I have realized that putting your phone number on the back of your car for a thousand miles is actually a decent way to pick up girls. (Dooley just cant finish the deal.) He begs to differ.

Takaya -"Oh man I cant feel my butt"
Bob- "Just reach down there and feel your butt"
Takaya- "I still can't feel my butt bob!"

All in all, it has been a good trip. I'm feeling a good day for the chargers. So happy to be here as charger nation grows.

Text Me - I'm Single

Or so that is what Taylor Dooley says!!  Well - he got his first text of the night.  And the best part of it ... the text was from a DUDE!!

Let's go back a bit - before we left, 3 sides of the Explorer were painted up to say "Text me, I'm single" and then the digits were given:
 - on the left rear driver's side - we have TJ - 610.716.2342
 - on the rear window - we have Taylor - 410.596.5198
 - on the right rear passenger's side - we have TJ once again.

And it's a contest.  Who can get the most texts.  TJ is feeling slighted - give him a text.  Taylor is winning 1-0 - but no one is seeing the side windows. 

We continue to make our way through VA - GDerr is driving solidly!  Dooley is scaring us with this texting back and forth of his new "friend".

just got into virginia great state by the way possibly the best state well go through. grant took a bathroom break in this state. gotta love gatorade bottles. my butt has fallen asleep takaya asked if this is a redneck state i take offense to that... sorry dad he doesnt mean it. only 867miles left

We just got out of traffic. TJ is already being dumb sleeping. Bob naturally is being lame and sleeping. Patch just busted out the vuvuzela ap on the ipod!!!! LETS GOOOO just entered beautiful Maryland its gorgeous out now funny how the MD does that. My knees are in my chest and i havent been able to feel my right butt cheek for an hour now. This is road trippin. Lets GOOO

Cruising Along

GDerr is quite the driver - way to go!  Still in PA - looking to get out of here, but we are heading south!  Over/under - how many tickets will we get on this journey?  Friends of our that left yesterday - they didn't fair so well with the 5-0 (aka state troopers).  One got pulled over (EP!!) and only got a warning.  Another - a young man apparently met 3 different troopers on the way and got 3 friendly "donate to the state fund" reminders.

Sooooo - what do you think we'll get?  Please text Grant - 302.824.5090 with your predictions of tickets for the trip.

THE NIGHT BEFORE

All was quiet in peterson hall.... except takaya fujimoto. im sure bob is thinking of how awful it will be to be driving for 17 hours with us. dooley and patch are going to come back with wives. we plan to go to a orlando magic game, get an alagators tooth, make bob as angry as possible and find floridian ladies and possibly beach day if time ............oh yeah and probably gonna watch the chargers come back with 2 national titles. -PATCH, G DERR, DOOLEY, GRANT, TAKAYA, TJ AND i guess BOB
